The SecuTec Genu Flex stabilizes the knee according to the 4-point principle and protects it from harmful incorrect movements. This relieves the ligaments and promotes healing. The semi-flexible frame construction of the orthosis perfectly adapts to the anatomy of the leg even during movement. After injuries, it reliably protects the knee in combination with non-elastic Velcro straps.
Thanks to flexible plastic links, the frame of the SecuTec Genu Flex perfectly shapes itself to the thigh and lower leg. This means the orthosis remains securely in position during movement, too, and it offers maximum wearing comfort. The orthotist can adjust it to the leg’s circumference by adding or removing individual chain links – this can also compensate for volume fluctuations during the course of treatment.
Additionally, the thigh and lower leg frame can each be configured to two lengths. Equally, independent restriction of flexion and extension as well as immobilization of the joints is possible. Thanks to the lightweight construction and the thin, soft microfiber cushions, the orthosis lies flat on the body, thus ensuring inconspicuous, secure protection during everyday activities.
