OTWorld 2026: Ticket shop of the Youth.Academy for Technical Orthopaedics now open

Independent programme for young professionals at OTWorld

Quality-assured orthopaedic treatment and care requires well-trained specialists. In order to specifically promote young talent and involve them in professional exchange at an early stage, OTWorld – World Congress and International Trade Show – offers an independent programme for trainees and students with the Youth.Academy TO. The ticket shop for the Youth.Academy TO is now open.

Two-day programme for young talent at OTWorld

The Youth.Academy TO will take place on Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22, 2026, as part of OTWorld in Leipzig. It offers young talent at the congress and trade show early exposure to the topics that will shape the future of technical orthopaedics. The programme includes specialist presentations, practical insights into modern care options, and information on current product developments. A joint barbecue on the first day of the event will provide an additional opportunity to get to know each other, exchange ideas, and network.

For trainees and students from various disciplines

Trainees and students from the fields of orthopaedic technology, orthopaedic footwear technology, physiotherapy, and medicine are eligible to participate. The Youth.Academy TO deliberately addresses several professional groups and promotes interdisciplinary and cross-border exchange already during training.

Discounted tickets and registration

Discounted ticket prices apply for the Youth.Academy TO, which – similar to the OTWorld World Congress – are available during the early bird period until March 31, 2026. Registration is possible both individually and as a class.

Established platform for the next generation of professionals

The Youth.Academy TO was founded in 2011 by trainees together with the Working Group of Teachers of Prosthetics and Orthotics and Sponsors (ALLOF e. V.) and the German Association of Orthopaedic Technology (BIV-OT). Since then, it has developed into a permanent platform for young talent in technical orthopaedics and is now an integral part of OTWorld.

Further information on the Youth.Academy TO and the ticket shop is available online.
