The technological marvel: assistance for foot drop
WalkAide® 2.0 enables individuals with central foot drop to walk significantly better again.
A flat housing with integrated sensors and self-learning electronics detects the movement of the leg and sends electrical impulses (functional electrostimulation) to the peroneal nerve. This in turn controls the movement in the ankle joint and lifts the foot when walking.
The result: natural, efficient, and safe walking. Including climbing stairs.
