NeuGait plus enables people with central plantar flexor weakness to walk much better again.

A small stimulation device with integrated sensors detects the movement of the leg below the knee and sends electrical impulses to the fibular nerve. This in turn controls the movement in the ankle and lifts the foot when walking. A special stimulator on the thigh also supports the muscle and ensures greater stability in the knee in the event of quadriceps weakness.

NeuGait plus is suitable for all patients whose nerve functions in the leg are restricted due to a disorder of the central nervous system, but whose nerve conduction is intact. NeuGait plus also stimulates the quadriceps and thus ensures greater stability in the knee.

This is the case, for example, with a stroke, multiple sclerosis, incomplete paraplegia or infantile cerebral palsy.
