Global knowledge transfer with "P&O insights"

Every two years, OTWorld in Leipzig lays the foundation for the global transfer of knowledge in technical orthopaedics. In order to further intensify collaboration and the exchange of best practices worldwide, the format "OTWorld Congress - P&O insights" was launched in 2019 by the organiser of the OTWorld congress, Confairmed GmbH.

At international and national congresses, such as the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists (AAOP) in the USA or therapie Leipzig, renowned speakers will provide insights into practical applications of technical orthopaedics.

At OTWorld 2024, the international exchange on the topic of spina bifida will continue in the form of a transnational symposium entitled "Modern treatment and innovations for patients with spina bifida - US-German exchange: Orthoses and prostheses for children" . Dipl Ing Merkur Alimusaj and Lauren Levey will take over the chairmanship on 15 May 2024. In Leipzig, Dr Gregory Heuer PhD and Prof Dr Frank Braatz and Stephan Martin will be speaking alongside the chairs.
