AID PROVISION IN CRISIS AREAS

Supplying people in crisis areas is becoming increasingly important due to environmental disasters and wars. Millions of people around the world are living in extremely difficult conditions after suffering severe strokes of fate. OTWorld is focussing on this topic with a special show on aid provision in crisis areas. The central element of the special show is the "Barrier:Zones" exhibition by the organisation Handicap International. It documents the fates of people with disabilities in conflict, war and crisis zones. Also other organisations and associations will be showing and reporting on their work on this topic.
TREATMENT OF NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS

In cooperation with the concept partners rehaVital Gesundheitsservice GmbH and the German Stroke Foundation, the special exhibition on the care of neurological diseases shows how conservative assistive technologies can improve patients' lives and help them to achieve a better quality of life. The exhibition includes a patient room with holistic care and a marketplace with further information and advice. Keynote speeches and interactive offers such as the stroke risk check round off the programme for visitors.
