Knee Osteoarthritis and Sports
10:30 AM -
12:00 PM
Thu, 21 May
Short description
The treatment of knee osteoarthritis requires a multimodal and individually tailored therapy plan. You will receive information on how movement—appropriately dosed—becomes a form of therapy: exercise and sports therapy can relieve pain and improve function. This is complemented by the latest findings on the effectiveness of topical treatments, medications and injections, as well as physical and physiotherapeutic measures and targeted provision of assistive devices. You will take home valuable insights for holistic patient care in both clinical and therapeutic practice.
