Therapy of Juvenile Scoliosis: Today and In the Future
3:15 PM -
4:30 PM
Wed, 15 May
Short description
Interdisciplinary cooperation is crucial to the success of scoliosis therapy. The new S2k guidelines for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis provide an overview of the main areas of treatment along with recommendations and evidence-based facts for orientation. Participants learn how their patients feel well cared for through the interplay of physiotherapy, brace treatment and possibly surgery when the entire team speaks the same language. They also learn about the future of scoliosis therapy: How can we help optimise the treatment possibilities without overtaxing the patient?
