The ‘Friction Wrist’ version has been designed specifically for people with a longer residual limb.

As the shortest and lightest variant of the COVVI Hand when installed on a prosthesis, its connection can be built directly into a user’s socket. This means that for users with longer limbs, the shorter wrist configuration provides an improved cosmetic appearance and positioning. In addition to this, the Friction Wrist variant is just under 12% lighter compared to the COVVI Hand when a Flex Wrist is installed.
