The Smart Finger Exoskeleton is an innovative rehabilitation and functional compensation tool designed for patients with finger movement disorders. The device is primarily used to treat conditions resulting from central nervous system injuries—such as stroke or traumatic brain injury—as well as peripheral nerve damage and cerebral palsy. It operates through three distinct modes: Passive Mode and Remote Control Mode, which drive fingers through repeated flexion and extension within a 0 to 70-degree range , and Assistive Mode. In Assistive Mode, the system utilizes sensors to collect electromyographic (EMG) signals, recognizing the user's movement intentions to drive the motor and provide intelligent assistance for daily self-care.
