The ALFA-Flex Light Brace foot abduction brace is used as a system component of the foot abduction orthosis for babies or children with a diagnosis of idiopathic clubfoot according to Dr. Ponseti's conservative therapy approach. The entire orthosis is used to maintain a correction of the foot made by plaster redression.
It is used together with the foot fasteners.
The top features:
• New and particularly lightweight design
• Simplified usability
• Dorsiflexion precisely adjustable from 0 to 20 degrees
• Abduction precisely adjustable from 0 to 70 degrees
• Stepless adjustable brace length from 20.5 to 29 centimetres
• Mini bar: also available as an 18 cm short alternative
