About us
The KS Institute for Gender-Specific Orthopaedic Technology develops mechanical treatment systems based on an extended understanding of body organisation under gravity.
Stability arises from the interaction of foot, pelvis, body axis and muscle tone. Treatment is an intervention in a system, not in isolated structures.
With ORTHO Female and ORTHO Male, two mechanical starting points are considered. Women and men differ in connective tissue, structure and tension patterns. These differences directly affect posture and movement.
ZYKLOMECHANICS® describes the mechanical logic of the female body and complements classical biomechanics based on the male model.
With ORTHO base and ORTHO seat, this system logic is applied. Posture changes through mechanics, not through compensation.
The goal is to provide training, seminars and lectures that convey this understanding and bring it into practice.
