With the new sustainability fee, you help make OTWorld even more environmentally friendly – without any extra effort on your part.
Your contribution actively supports a sustainable event and ensures that:
- your booth is powered with 100% green electricity.
- waste generated during the trade fair is properly separated and recycled.
- Leipziger Messe can continue to invest sustainably in energy, mobility, and exhibition construction to minimize the ecological impact of events. (Learn more about current projects and goals of Leipzig Trade Fair here )
- a holistic sustainable catering concept is offered – featuring fair-trade products, regional ingredients, plant-based alternatives, certified fish, and a clear focus on waste reduction.
- all legal sustainability requirements are met.
With the sustainability fee, Leipziger Messe follows the industry standard of the German trade fair sector and, together with exhibitors, sends a strong signal for responsible and future-oriented business practices.
What’s included?
- Disposal of regular waste up to 100 liters per booth
- Separation and recycling: proper waste stream management ensured
- On-site staff support to guide correct waste disposal
- Cooperation with innovative partners to reduce waste and maximize recycling
- Free use of public transport (tariff zone 110) to and from the exhibition grounds for all exhibitors and visitors during the event
Not included are stand construction materials from setup and dismantling, hazardous waste, or packaging volumes over 100 liters – these can be conveniently booked via the online order system if required.
