New partner of the exhibition area

In 2026, the German Federal Association for Orthopaedic Footwear Technology (SpiOST) will join OTWorld.shoe-technology as a new partner for the first time. This underlines the strong joint presence of the industry and further strengthens the exhibition area as a hub for networking and innovation.

At the SpiOST stand, you will find space for exchange, discussion and networking – and can stay informed first-hand about current topics and developments in orthopaedic footwear technology.

Meeting Point “Foot & Shoe”

Once again, the Meeting Point Foot & Shoe will be a central feature of OTWorld.shoe-technology in 2026. Organised jointly by the Competence Centre for Orthopaedic Footwear Technology and the Orthopaedic Shoe Technology Study Association (Studiengemeinschaft Orthopädieschuhtechnik e.V., this established hub offers space for professional exchange and networking.

The 2026 focus topic is “Diabetic Foot Syndrome”. You can take part in a guided tour with several stations that illustrate the treatment and care of the diabetic foot in a clear and practice-oriented way. Typical care situations, treatment approaches and care pathways are demonstrated step by step – ideal for deepening your expertise and gaining new perspectives for everyday practice. An interdisciplinary approach and the close link between medicine, technology and patient care are at the heart of the concept.
