Springer’s custom-made shoe concept enables the targeted outsourcing of manufacturing processes in orthopedic shoe technology.
Companies can outsource production in whole or in part without having to adapt existing workflows. Both analog and digital lasts are processed; manufacturing is carried out through structured manual work under MDR-compliant conditions. The goal is to shorten delivery times, free up capacity within the company, and ensure supply even during periods of high workload. At the same time, processes become more predictable and bottlenecks are reduced. The concept specifically addresses the current challenges posed by a shortage of skilled workers and increasing time pressure, and lays the foundation for a stable, cost-effective supply.
