Programmable Plast™ technology expands to diagnostic prosthetic sockets
The latest update to the Embrace Corset solution introduces professional 3D-printed diagnostic sockets for both above- and below-knee applications.
A significant upgrade to the Embrace Corset solution has been released, providing orthopedic professionals with advanced tools to design and manufacture custom prosthetic devices. This launch includes specialized material profiles and printing strategies specifically engineered for the unique structural requirements of diagnostic sockets. Developed in collaboration with clinical partner Officina Ortopedica Maria Adelaide from Turin, Italy, this technology has already been validated through more than 60 successful patient fittings, ensuring the workflow meets the highest professional standards. “The integration of our patented strong print strategies into the new material profiles ensures that every diagnostic socket meets the highest standards of structural integrity. By combining these advanced strategies in the Programmable Plast™ technology platform, we enable the creation of high-end custom devices that are both lightweight and durable.” Jeremie Gay, Founder and CTO. This release allows clinics currently utilizing the Embrace Corset solution to broaden their service offerings without investing in new hardware. The update provides a seamless transition from spinal orthotics to prosthetic socket fabrication, maximizing the utility of existing equipment while improving clinic efficiency. “I am thrilled to launch this application and enable extra value for the clinics already operating our Embrace Corset solution. We expect that many others in the industry will see the clear advantages of moving to a digital workflow that prioritizes both clinician efficiency and patient comfort.” Jacob Nissen, CEO. The team is proud to bring these diagnostic devices to OTWorld. We invite all industry professionals to stop by our booth to see the technology firsthand and experience the clarity and strength of our latest material profiles
