Helping people with incomplete paraplegia get back on their feet. That is the goal of C-Brace Interim. It is an innovative treatment concept designed for use in the early rehabilitation phase. The interim orthosis helps orthopedic specialists mobilize their patients more effectively. The core lies in the modular design of the orthotic system—consisting of the microprocessor-controlled C-Brace knee joint, thigh shells, and an ankle-foot orthosis. Thanks to the C-Brace orthotic knee joint, the risk of falls for patients is significantly reduced. This allows the training period to be actively extended into everyday life for up to six months. The result: Patients practice walking, gradually increase their load, rehearse movement sequences, and thereby regain confidence step by step. Additionally, patients can be guided more precisely toward their ideal, customized definitive prosthesis.
