Neurology living environments: Care that opens up prospects right from the start
How can people with neurological diseases be supported from early childhood through to working life?
Answers to this question will be provided by the special show ‘Living with neurological conditions’ at OTWorld 2026 in Leipzig. Under the motto “Early support, professional success – orthopaedic treatment and care that enable participation,” it will demonstrate in a practical way how modern medical aids, interprofessional cooperation, and social support can accompany people in different phases of life.
The exhibition follows a patient journey that takes visitors through key stages of life – from kindergarten to school, training, and university to working life. Concrete examples illustrate how orthopaedic treatment and care, therapeutic support, and a supportive environment can work together to help people with neurological diseases realize their potential.
The special show is being organized by the service provider association rehaVital. It is under the patronage of the German Association of Orthopaedic Technology (BIV-OT). On site, specialists from rehaVital and member companies, together with manufacturers, will be on hand to guide visitors through the exhibition and provide insights into specific care approaches.
