Neuro-Orthotics – FES vs. Orthosis

You will be given an overview of various functional electrical stimulation (FES) systems: what are their advantages and disadvantages, and which indications preclude treatment? You will also learn how FES can be used both as a standalone medical aid and in combination with an orthosis. In addition, a user will report on their practical experiences.
