LEAD and COMPASS: Pilot Project for an International Lower Limb Registry
4:45 PM -
6:00 PM
Wed, 20 May
Short description
Reliable data are essential for effective orthopaedic treatment and care and rehabilitation, yet they are often lacking in routine practice. In this session, you will learn how an international registry and outcome database can support informed decisions in service provision, development, and planning. Using a pilot project in patients with lower limb absence, the presentation shows how meaningful data in everyday clinical settings with LEAD and COMPASS can be collected. You will gain insight into common challenges, practical solutions and a realistic implementation timeline, as well as how the database framework can be adapted to other conditions and orthopaedic treatment and care.
