New Approaches to Pain Reduction and Rehabilitation

Short description

You will become familiar with innovative technologies used in the rehabilitation of patients with pain or in the daily lives of people with permanent impairments: transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), percutaneous needle neurostimulation, and contactless control of complex electric wheelchairs. A new rehabilitation system for people with osseointegrated prostheses will also be presented. You will learn how to apply these innovative methods purposefully to relieve pain, promote motivation, and enhance your patients’ independence.
