ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES
The Leipzig Exhibition Centre is designed for accessibility and guarantees you short, manageable distances. After all, we aim to maximise mobility for everyone visiting our trade shows so they can quickly get to where they are going.
All our halls are on the ground floor and have no thresholds that could hinder access, allowing visitors with limited mobility to reach every entrance easily. And if you notice any barriers to mobility, please point them out to us at any time!
Wheelchairs available to borrow
You can also borrow a wheelchair for your visit to the trade show. Just ask a cloakroom staff member in the West Entrance Hall or Entrance Area in Hall 5. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs available, we recommend making a reservation.
To request a wheelchair, please fill out the order form provided. A wheelchair will then be available for you in the respective entrance area.
Accessible parking spaces
Accessibility is also ensured for those arriving by car. Suitable spaces are available in the front area of the visitor car park (PDF) (PDF, 850 kB) .
Arriving by tram
The number 16 tram is a straightforward option that will take you to the "Messegelände” stop. Almost all trams on this route use modern, low-floor carriages, making it easier to get on and off. More information is available from the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) transit authority hotline (+49 341 49224-07 or +49 341 49224-08) and on the LVB website.
