France is Partner Country at OTWorld 2024

France is presenting itself for the first time as the partner country at OTWorld. A large pavilion with French companies is planned as well as contributions to the congress programme that provide insights into the French healthcare system. The Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris will also be in the spotlight.

„OTWorld is a leading world industry platform. The 2024 edition is expected to once again be an innovative and inspiring benchmark event. With France as the partner country and Paris as the venue for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the expertise and innovative power shown by French companies in the development of medical aids will be taking centre stage. We are looking forward to this unique opportunity to further strengthen the close relationship between Germany and France, as well as contribute to the future of the industry", says Martin Buhl-Wagner, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe.

At OTWorld 2024, the collaboration will be further intensified while at the same time providing a platform for French specialists in medical aids to present their expertise to an international audience of professionals. From start-ups and medium-sized companies to leading market players, the 2024 edition of OTWorld will provide a very special opportunity to take the stage for some 25 French experts in medical aids. Together, they represent the innovative power of the French medical aids industry with a wide range of products in prosthetics, orthotics and compression supply as well as rehabilitation and orthopaedic footwear technologies.

A French pavilion is also planned for Hall 5, organised in collaboration with the German-French Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Paris. Alongside new products for the industry, there will be a talk on the French healthcare sector with insights into its structures and development.

Preparations for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris will feature as an additional highlight. The prosthetists and orthotists who will be attending to the elite athletes during the games are to receive special recognition at OTWorld. Furthermore, there are plans for contributions from paralympic athletes, as well as talks by specialists in orthopaedic care for both professional and amateur athletes.
