The Method TA™ Ankle Foot Orthosis (AFO) by Becker Orthopedic provides a versatile approach to managing gait impairments caused by neurologic conditions. Available in both pre-fabricated (custom fit) and now custom configurations, the Method TA offersclinicians flexibility in selecting the appropriate level of personalization based on patient presentation and clinical setting. Its modular, adjustable design supports evolving patient needs and allows targeted tuning of gait mechanics. This course will examinethe clinical indications for each version of the Method TA, provide guidance on device adjustments, and highlight decision-making considerations when choosing between the Method TA and alternative custom orthotic designs.
