Yet our industry still ties itself to manual workshop tasks while patients wait for care.This presentation challenges the traditional self-image of the craftsman and shows, using the example of Orthopedie Walter, how automated insole production frees up significant time for consultation and analysis.It demonstrates how intelligent algorithms and automized 3D printing can take over workshop work, improve consistency, and strengthen the profession by allowing experts to focus on what only humans can provide: real patient care instead of time in the workshop.
