Last »Call for Symposia« and Last »Call for Papers« - Deadline 15 September

The next OTWorld is nine months away and preparations are in full swing. Participants still have four weeks and two ways to become part of the programme. All one needs to do is submit either an abstract for an independent contribution or an ePoster; moreover, it is also possible to submit a proposal for a symposium. The submission deadline for both options is 15 September.

New: Call for Symposia - Thematic blocks submissions

In the coming year, OTWorld will be a forum for the global exchange of experiences and new findings more than ever before. For the first time, the World Congress invites participants to submit concepts for scientific symposia. The goal is to present thematically related works that deal with current problems and controversies. Submissions on the following topics are welcome:

  • eHealth:
    - New possibilities for interdisciplinary use of patient data

  • Osseointegration:
    - New approaches in research and development
    - Concepts for the future
    - Bionic reconstruction
    - Osseointegration in prosthetics

Call for Papers - Submission of individual presentations and ePosters

The deadline for submitting abstracts for the scientific programme is also 15 September 2019. Submissions for the entire thematic range are encouraged to guarantee research-based exchange at every level. The topics range from prosthetics and orthotics, feet and shoes, rehabilitation, rehabilitation technology, sports (medicine), biomechanics as well as paediatric orthopaedics and paediatric care to interdisciplinary topics such as digitisation, materials research and special challenges in developing countries.
