Check list: final preparations for your visit to OTWorld
In a few days, OTWorld 2016 will be in the starting blocks. We have summarised all the most important administrative information again for you here, to help you to optimise your preparations.
There are still kilometres of cable to be laid, hundreds of stands to be built, dozens of spotlights to be fixed in position and some masterly logistical feats to be performed by next Tuesday – for that is when OTWorld, the International Trade Show and World Congress, will again be opening its doors two years after the last event. While dozens of tradesmen are busily engaged in constructing the new OTWorld Congress Centre and the exhibition stands, visitors and exhibitors will be getting ready to attend the show.
The Exhibitor Index provides an excellent opportunity to plan the visit to best effect, so as to use the time available efficiently. With it, exhibitors can, for instance, be sorted by product group and kept in a personal watch list. The Congress Programme and the Trade Show Programme, moreover, provide a detailed overview of all the events. A further highlight, on 3 May, is also the Congress and Trade Show Party in the Moritzbastei. Tickets can still be ordered via the online ticket shop until 2 May; after that any remaining tickets will be made available at the door on the evening of the event.
Hall plans and road maps with arrival details will help you to get to your destination without hassle and to find the exhibitors stands easily once you are on site. You can, for example, get to OTWorld very quickly by ICE express train, which now serves the Exhibition Centre directly with a stop at Leipziger Messe. You will find further information on the OTWorld website under Arrival.
Once you have found your way to the Leipzig Exhibition Centre, various services and facilities are available to you: cash machines, left-luggage lockers and wheelchairs that can be hired in both East and West Entrance Halls as well as free loan of an electric scooter from Mobilis GmbH in Exhibition Hall 3, Stand C04 – to mention just a few of the many possibilities. There is also a new location for the congress: this year, for the first time, the World Congress will take place in the OTWorld Congress Centre. This ultra-modern, multifunctional congress centre is being built actually inside Hall 3. That way, the distances between the World Congress and the leading world trade show will be even shorter.
Be our guest and join the progress – we look forward to seeing you there
