CAMPUS INNOVATIONS FORUM
It is hard to imagine a leading world trade fair without the innovations from the scientific and research communities. And we have already seen, a number of the new developments presented here in the last years have created something of a stir throughout the sector.
The joint stand, 'Campus', with participation from universities and research institutions, is a mustering station for the exchange of experiences between the scientific and business communities and the consumer. Industry presents its latest product developments in the 'Innovations Forum'.

ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING (3D PRINTING)
As a special highlight, the OTWorld showed the FabBus, which is the first project of its kind worldwide realized by Fachhochschule Aachen – University of Applied Sciences. Here, exhibitors could experience first-hand the techniques of additive manufacturing. The FabBus especially presented a 3D-printed prosthetic hand as a “growing prosthesis”.
