"Unitos Smart" was developed for amputees above the knee joint. It is a fully comprehensive prosthesis system that focuses on knee-/ankle joint coupling. This coupling allows the user to transmit movements of the knee joint to the ankle joint. In the swing phase, this innovation enables active lifting of the toe (dorsiflexion). The resulting ground clearance guarantees safe swing phase of the prosthesis. In addition, the "Unitos Smart" features adjustable trip protection, adjustable polycentric axis geometry and adjustable swing phase damping. The "Unitos Smart" can be adapted to the user's therapy progress. The focus is on the safety of the amputee.
