The innovative CoxaTrain relieves hip pain and relaxes the muscles carrying out the movement. It provides relief while walking and targets the entire lumbar, pelvic, and hip region. This helps patients suffering from osteoarthritis of the hip, rheumatoid arthritis, or impingement syndrome to improve their mobility and delay endoprosthetic surgery for as long as possible.

To ensure less pain and more mobility, the hip orthosis combines multiple modes of action: it stabilizes the pelvis and relieves the sacroiliac joints (SI joints). During movement, three pads massage the soft tissue around the SI joints, buttocks, and thighs, thus helping to offset muscular imbalances. The Trochanter Pad is a patented innovation. The pad moves on the eccentric hinge when the patient is walking, and therefore targets the tendon insertions above the greater trochanter.
