Premiere at OTWorld 2022: Treatment Route Lymphological Diseases
This special show developed exclusively for OTWorld will show how complex it can be to care for patients with lymphatic diseases. The sufferings and treatments experienced by a lymphatic patient will be portrayed over 5 stations. Guided tours of the Treatment Route will be offered several times daily and are free of charge. These can be booked in advance via the ticket shop.
The Treatment Route Lymphological Diseases was developed exclusively for OTWorld 2022 by a team of experts consisting of representatives from the German Association of Orthopaedic Technology (BIV-OT) and various other professional associations, suppliers and manufacturers.
The entire treatment process for a lymphatic patient from diagnosis and lymphatic drainage to compression will be portrayed over 5 stations and will include a presentation of supportive medical aids as well as guidelines for lymphatic treatment. This special show also demonstrates which skills are needed for modern and professional treatment and look at the role of retail surgical stores in successful therapy for patients with lymphatic diseases.
Guided tours of the special show on lymphatic diseases will be offered several times daily with a maximum of 12 participants per tour. Registration for the 45-minute tours is free of charge and will soon be possible via the OTWorld ticket shop . There will also be a number of 30-minute presentations each day on the stage.
Exhibitors such as Artur Mönch , Bauerfeind , Bort , Lohmann & Rauscher , medi , Ofa Bamberg and Tejidos Elasticos Lloveras will present their innovations in lymphatic treatment at OTWorld 2022. Experts at the booth answer questions and conduct live demonstrations of patient care.
