Findings of a patient trial of perforated, pin-lock prosthetic liners

Abstract: Amputees commonly have issues with excess sweating, particularly at the residual limb. A perforated liner, with a pin-lock suspension, has been developed to enhance air circulation around the residuum and allow sweat transfer from this interface. The results of patient trials are reported.
