Mirror therapy and body schema perception in CRPS

Abstract: Mirror therapy requires minimum equipment, is relatively simple to perform and effective in various pathological conditions. The efficacy of mirror therapy in treatment of body schema disturbances registered in complex regional pain syndrome type I (CRPS I) patients, has not definitely established.

The Poland syndrome in a 14-year-old boy and his treatment with MC devices

Abstract: Beim Poland-Syndrom handelt es sich um eine angeborene Fehlbildung des m. pectoralis. Die Prävalenz liegt etwa bei 1: 20 Tsd.-30 Tsd. Die Häufigkeit ist dreimal grösser beim männlichen Geschlecht, die rechte Seite ist doppelt so oft betroffen wie die linke, bilateral so gut wie gar nicht.

Pilot study: Manual therapy for determining the first and second increase in connective tissue resistance in scars and scar tissue

Abstract: In der Nachbehandlung von grossen Narbenplatten ist eine wundheilungsadaptierte Dosierung von grösster Bedeutung. Voraussetzung dafür ist das Erkennen der BGW, nur so kann eine Überdosierung vermieden werden. In dieser Pilotstudie konnten die beiden BGW signifikant auseinandergehalten werden.

Abstract: Traditionally, amputees with diabetes have been excluded from osseointegrated reconstruction. In the project we look into a case series of 8 diabetic patients who received an osseointegrated implant and report on their clinical outcomes.
