Abstract: Ziel der Studie ist die Validierung der deutschen Übersetzung des „Trinity Amputation and Experience Scales -Revised - obere Extremität (TAPES-R-OR)“. Hierzu werden Reliabilität und Validität des Fragebogens geprüft und seine Eignung für den Einsatz im deutschen Sprachraum ermittelt.

Does use of a hydraulically articulating prosthetic ankle-foot device improve gait and walking performance in individuals with lower activity levels?

Abstract: This study investigates the effects of a hydraulically articulating ankle-foot device compared to an identical, rigidly attached, foot in individuals with unilateral transtibial amputation (UTA) who have lower activity levels. Results indicate that use of the hydraulic device improve gait function.

Patient specific FEM design of a carbon forefoot prosthesis for physical active patients

Abstract: A patient specific prosthesis is designed for forefoot amputated patients with moderate sportive activities. The design is based on patient specific parameters (body weight, degree of mobility, forefoot amputation level, measured load data). The design is optimized using a carbon FEM model.

A protocol for comparison of prosthetic components under controlled walking speed

Abstract: In diesem Beitrag werden Unterschiede in der Kinetik beim Gehen mit zwei unterschiedlichen Prothesenfüßen untersucht. Um den Einfluss der Gehgeschwindigkeit auf die Kinetik zu reduzieren, erhalten die Probanden ein visuelles Feedback über ihre momentane Gehgeschwindigkeit.
