Abstract:

The project aims combining benefits of custom made AFOs with material properties of carbon fiber through utilizing 3D printing technologies together with patient specific 3D data. Further a new fiber tape laying device was developed, which allows orthotists to add carbon fiber struts to bespoke AFOs
